Sales Tax

We do not charge sales tax unless the order is shipped to California or picked up in our California showroom. 

California Orders

If your order is shipped to a location in California, we are required by law to include a local sales tax. If you choose to pick up your order at our showroom location in California, this sales tax will also be applied, regardless of where you live or where the flooring is going to. 

The current sales tax rate for Chula Vista, California is 8.75%.

California Sales Tax Exempt Form

Some individuals, companies, or agencies may be exempt from the California Sales Tax. If you know you are exempt from the California Sales Tax, please email your Exemption Certification to sales@floorlot.com
